Ed. Have I missed something along the way? Why in the WORLD would it be incumbent upon President Donald Trump to apologize to Christine Ford?

It was Ford who made accusations against Justice Kavanaugh; accusations which were supported neither by evidence or witnesses. In fact, Kavanaugh may well be in position to bring charges against FORD for defamation and God knows what else. Of course, he will not do that. But suggesting that President Trump apologize because his nominee was unjustly ATTACKED…that is idiotic.

Consider the workings of the leftist mind:  (1) “We attacked your nominee because he is an honest judge and that is something we just can’t afford on the Supreme Court.”  (2) “We lost, after a despicable, all out attempt to destroy your man’s reputation, his life and his family.” (3) “And now we want YOU to apologize to US, Mr. President because, well, because we’re just really upset about losing!”

Tuesday on Fox News Channel’s “The Five,” co-host Juan Williams said in light of President Donald Trump apologizing to Supreme Court Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh at his swearing-in ceremony, he should also apologize to Christine Blasey Ford for the controversy during Kavanaugh confirmation process.

JUSTICE Brett Kavanaugh sworn in be Chief Justice John Roberts

Juan Williams said, “There was a different tone for Sotomayor swearing-in versus last night. Last night was revenge of the Republicans. Republicans in the end zone doing a dance. So to me, the apology—out of line totally. Remember, the poll we showed a moment ago, gosh, we didn’t show you but guess what, most Americans disapproved of the way Republicans handled it as well.”

He continued, “The bottom line is 51 percent of Americans did not approve of this man’s confirmation. In addition, a majority of Americans believed Professor Ford, not Justice Kavanaugh. This is going to go on for some time, and if you want to get into women, wow American women are overwhelming in their disapproval of Kavanaugh. When you hear people say ‘Oh, my gosh, what we see here is President Trump basically having a campaign ad at the White House and throwing it in people’s faces.’ That’s what it felt like.”

Co-host Greg Gutfeld said, “He was apologizing to a family whose lives were ruined.”
